This annual competition sees Australia’s most passionate pizza makers compete for the title of ‘Australian Pizza Champion’ and the chance to represent Australia in the global pizza challenge. The competition is open to all pizza chefs, both professional and home cooks, and of course Perfect Italiano cheese is on hand to finish off all of the delicious pizza creations.The inaugural Global Pizza Challenge was held in 2010, with Aussie Chef Simon Best, co owner of Augello’s Restaurant on the Sunshine coast, taking out the title.
